Agroecology is sustainable agriculture that respects the environmental balance. This type of agricultural production aims to optimise food production without endangering nature and the environment.

Agroecology is therefore based on :
    An ethic of life and development linked to ecological systems.
    It also means favouring mixed farming in small areas, cultivating plants and caring for fauna that is adapted to the environment and complementary.
    Using resources in a rational way: mulching, hedge cultivation, promoting humus
    Encourage local exchanges, by promoting short circuits.
    Improve the autonomy of small farms, to promote their independence

The limits of agroecology are first of all the yields, but also the knowledge in these techniques, which remain for the moment more a philosophy than a real agricultural practice.
